Juicing for Health

Now and days no one thinks they have the time, or need, to properly cleanse their body. Truth is we all need to cleanse our bodies every now and again. Rather we are busy with family, work, or a heavy combination of both, sometimes our demanding lives never give our bodies a break. The subject of matter is “busy bee” syndrome can not only make us exhausted and lower our immune system, however it can prevent us from a well-known type of cleansing, juicing. There are pro’s and con’s to juicing. However let’s look into why juicing is important in the first place.

I am sure many of you have heard of juicing. When you hear the word you probably think of celebrities and models trying to lose weight for a big screen movie. However juicing is not about losing weight for a night out in that little black dress. Depending on your current diet, juicing allows your body to enjoy the benefit of nutrients, antioxidants, and disease fighting components that are otherwise not being ingested. Due to the process of extracting the natural unpasteurized juice straight from its source, it is safe to say that fresh fruit and vegetable juice maybe a better option than store-bought juices. “Juices may help ward off Alzheimer’s”, reports Maureen Callahan from Health.com. “Dr. Qi Dai, the Vanderbilt associate professor of medicine who directed the study, credited the benefit to polyphenols, a type of antioxidant plentiful in the skins and peels of certain fruits and vegetables”, says Marueen.

Not only are you able to save yourself some health troubles, by teaching your kids the art of juicing you are establishing their healthy habits. Kids need to learn how important it is to take care of their bodies. The best way for a child to learn is by following their parent’s example. Therefore juicing isn’t just some “fad diet” in mainstream media; juicing is a lifestyle change that will benefit the entire family for years to come. Start incorporating juice into your daily diet. Try one cup in the morning and begin to feel the difference. Once you become accustom to your body’s new energy you will not want to stop. Before you start any sort of juice cleanses be sure to check with your doctor. Juicing isn’t for everyone. People with certain health ailments may want to stick to traditional detox methods unless given permission to juice from their doctor.
